It just brings a new GUI to what we already have, which is nice, but it shouldn't take that long. OLFMSQL April 30, 2022, 5:31pm 26 Livestreaming you mean probably screen sharing. Linux is not really targeted toward the normal user, although they are tryna make it more suitable for less tech savvy users, exactly as TS is tryna do.Ībout TS5 - true, it's tryna make it more appealing for the user but it's definitely not trying to compete with Discord. What do you mean by live streaming As far as i know TeamSpeak 5 development has set screen sharing and video-chat as a priority feature for 2022. The new TeamSpeak app (informally known as TeamSpeak 5, with the current version being 3) still works with Windows 10, mind, and it’s currently in closed beta, with development being an ongoing. Discord is made to be an all in one and TS, as the names suggests, it's TeamSPEAK, so streaming your screen, video chats and stuff like that are out of the question First of all, Teamspeak CAN'T, WILL NOT and is NOT TRYING TO COMPETE WITH DISCORD. True, the development is really slow and I feel like no one cares about developing the app further, they announced TS5 a looong time ago and it isn't even close to release after so many years.
